脇町

脇町は徳島県の西部の吉野川の中流域北岸に存在した町です。
阿波九城の1つである脇城の城下町、うだつの街並で知られています。
2005年3月1日に2町1村と合併して美馬市となりました。神戸市 水漏れ
1889年の町村制実施時に徳島県内で「町」だった2つの自治体のひとつで、ひとつは、現・鳴門市の撫養町です。
合併前は徳島県内を超えて、四国地方の町で唯一「まち」という読み方でした。

Waki-cho is a town located on the northern coast of the middle region of the Yoshino River in the western part of Tokushima Prefecture.
On 1 March 2005 we merged with 2 villages and 1 village and became Mima City.
It is known as the castle town of Wakijo, which is one of Awa Kuro Castle, and the city of Udatsu.
It is one of the two municipalities that was “town” in Tokushima prefecture when the municipal system was implemented in 1889.

Before the merger, it was the only way to read “Tokachi” in the town of Shikoku, beyond Tokushima Prefecture.
